About ThetisOnTheWeb.com

This website is provided by Stuart E Green (G5STU).

It extends work found in an HTML document that was circulated freely on the Internet, which was completely unlicensed and free for anybody to use without restriction. This means people could use that code, extend it, close-source it if they wished, and use it in a commercial fashion should they choose to do so.

Stuart has taken this fledgling code created by amateur radio enthusiasts and has fixed many bugs while working to turn it into a usable application for people to enjoy.

The original freely available HTML document now forms a tiny fraction of the current codebase, with the vast majority of the code being newly written and developed specifically for this project.

This website and its developers operate independently and are not associated with ON7OFF and others who may have been involved in the creation of that original AI generated HTML file.

Our Goals:

This website aims to extend the functionality to support connections to other types of radios and systems.

We will also provide full reverse proxy access for Thetis users so they can securely share access to their radio with other users, as well as access their own radio from this website when out and about without needing to know the IP addresses of those other users or locations they are yet to visit.

This is the goal of this website. Please note this may differ from the goals of other forks of this type of system, which may or may not have similar names.

Important: This is a closed source project owned by Stuart E Green (G5STU). The code developed for this project is proprietary and requires written permission for use.
